Danielle J. Ford is a co-founder of Ford & Flaxman PLLC. Attorney Ford entered law school with the intention to focus her studies on the practice of Family Law and has been working exclusively in domestic relations for almost five years. Attorney Ford graduated cum laude from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in May 2022. Upon graduation, Attorney Ford successfully completed the Nevada Bar Exam and was admitted to practice law in the state of Nevada in October 2022. Attorney Ford worked as a Law Clerk in a firm specializing in litigation of high net worth divorce matters, as well as complex custody cases and relocations.
Since becoming an attorney, Attorney Ford has represented clients in a wide host of domestic related matters including adoption; guardianships; grandparent’s rights; initial custody/paternity determinations; custody modifications for the purposes of relocation out of state; complex division of marital assets, including division of mixed character assets; division of community property businesses; preservation of sole and separate property assets; enforcement of prenuptial agreements; divorce litigation featuring international marriages; complex spousal support cases involving disability; and other financial issues including marital waste claims, dissolution of marriage with ongoing bankruptcy proceedings, and modifications of alimony.
Attorney Ford has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for the overwhelming majority of her life, graduating from Valley High School in 2002. Prior to entering the legal field, Attorney Ford taught for the Clark County School District and ran multiple small businesses. Attorney Ford earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History, prior to attending University of Nevada Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law. During law school, Attorney Ford excelled in the areas of client and trial advocacy. Attorney Ford represented the Law School in several advocacy competitions including client counseling, and mock trial. Danielle was no stranger to the courtroom, and she obtained her student practice license in order to defend clients against criminal prosecutions. Attorney Ford assumed leadership roles, running both the Mediation Clinic and the mock trial team during her third year of law school. Attorney Ford completed an intensive certification course to become a certified family law mediator. She performed weekly family court mediations during her 2nd and 3rd years of law school. Attorney Ford graduated cum laude in May 2022, and she took bar exam, passing on the first time, in October 2022. Since that time, she practiced law in the area of high net worth divorce and complex custody litigation.
Attorney Ford is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Nevada and Clark County Bar Association and is admitted to appear in all Courts in the State of Nevada, including the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

Attorney Ford firmly believes that divorce or dissolution of a romantic partnership is among the most painfully emotional experiences that a client may have to face. Danielle approaches her attorney role as that of a trusted advisor, but also a compassionate counselor.
